Paying Attention to Spatial Reasoning
Support Document for Paying Attention to Mathematics Education In order to support our learning around Geometry and Spatial Sense, the educator team has referred the Paying Attention to Spatial Reasoning Support Document for Paying Attention to Mathematics Education monograph, published by the Ontario Ministry of Education. The Kindergarten Program
The Kindergarten Program sets out what four- and five-year-olds across the province will learn in Ontario’s two-year Kindergarten program. It also describes how educators will help children learn through play and inquiry. Based on the most up-to-date information about child development and how children learn best, the Kindergarten program provides a smooth transition from home or child care settings and a strong foundation for learning in the years to come.

-Ontario Ministry of Education Handwriting Without Tears
Developmental Teaching Order Handwriting Without Tears is a program that we use within the classroom when teaching letter formation. The Handwriting Without Tears teaching order is planned to help children learn handwriting skills in the easiest, more efficient way. It is also developmentally planned to start with a review of the easy letters: the capitals. These are the fist letters children learn. Please see the Handwriting Without Tears website for more information: https://www.hwtears.com/hwt
